Valentis
The very start of Valentis dates back to 1919 when the Institute of Hygiene Kaunas, Pasteur station, started producing the rabies vaccine. In the early twentieth century, this section became productive and independent and was engaged in other necessary biopharmaceutical industries.
Following the merger of several pharmaceutical companies in 2003, the common name Valentis was chosen. The word originates from Latin and means “healthy and strong”.
Since then the company has grown and now it exports products to Poland, Latvia, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Georgia.
Nowadays Valentis is a modern international company implementing the latest technologies in the development of new products. The synthesis of tradition and innovation, and the inexhaustible energy of its team result in the company’s success.
